You have the choice whether your sourdough will arrive dehydrated or frozen and alive. You will receive written instructions with each delivery explaining how to get your sourdough started for home use. You will want to have a clean glass jar on hand as well as distilled water and the appropriate "food" for your starter. You will receive an e-mail upon order letting you know what food or blend of foods you will need to feed your chosen sourdough.
